Our Infant program offers care and compassion. Children need to develop a trustworthy relationship with their caregivers to rely on them. We consider the environment as a third educator and provide a nurturing and welcoming environment to new parents and their infants. We understand that parents are the first and primary caregivers and consider their input and feedback significant in planning activities. At First Academy, Parents leave their infants with a peaceful mind that their child is in good hands.
Our Registered Early Childhood educators pay close attention to infants’ growth and development and to their sensitive periods. We understand that the growth in children’s first few years has a significant impact on their personalities. Our care and support help these infants to feel comfortable and develop in all areas of growth and learning.
We understand the value of nutritious food and provide infant-friendly food with servings of milk with each food serving.
